Come with me, because this news is a little treat: Ditto gets to dress up! The Pokémon Company and Nintendo have announced that Dazzling Decorations, Part 2 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass, arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 8 at 5 p.m. PT, which is already December 9 in Europe and Asia.
Accessories for everyone
The big addition is fashion: Expansion Pass owners will be able to dress Ditto and their Pokémon neighbors in an array of accessories. The official images show bows, sunglasses and bow ties, and Ditto even gets a ribbon to match Sylveon. So cute! Part 2 also brings more Pokémon to befriend and new items.
To play it, you need the free ver. 3.0.0 software update, and you must first complete key requests in Withered Wasteland: “Raise the environment level!”, “Rebuild the Pokémon Center!” and Drifloon’s “Find a doll!” request.
Bonuses and the other parts
Expansion Pass buyers get extra gifts with purchase: a recipe for dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper, plus a code sent by email for 30 rare Pokémetal ingots, available through August 31, 2027. Part 1, Bubbly Basin, with its underwater town, came out on August 5, 2026, and Part 3, with another new town to explore and rebuild, is slated for 2027.
Price
On the US Nintendo eShop, the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass costs $34.99. The base game, released on March 5, 2026, is $69.99, and the bundle with the game and the pass is $104.99 (prices checked on Nintendo’s official store on November 4).
A free apple event
And there is a treat for everyone, even without the pass: the Apples to Applin event runs from November 16, 2026, at 5:00 a.m. to December 1, 2026, at 4:59 a.m. (times as listed by The Pokémon Company). Collect Syrupy Apples, trade them for apple-themed furniture and build habitats that attract Flapple, Appletun, Dipplin and Hydrapple. You need software version 2.0.1 or later. Fans of cozy life sims may also like Petit Planet, coming to Switch 2 in 2027, and Pokémon GO players can check out the Explorer Gadget update.
