SavePoint is a Brazilian news site covering games, anime and everything in between. We cover releases, announcements, events, updates and reviews for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo, publishing in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Who makes SavePoint
- Xavier, founder: he has been gaming since 1992 and never stopped, watching industry giants rise and fall over more than three decades.
- Sapo: a fighting game master who writes about the genre and the competitive scene.
- SavePoint Team: our newsroom profile for general news and official announcements.
And those bylines like Capitão Pixel, Lady Combo, Zé Cartucho, Doutor Overclock and Moleque do Fliperama? They’re SavePoint house pen names: newsroom aliases, each with its own way of telling a story. Sourcing, fact-checking and corrections follow the same rules for all of them; only the name tags came out of a character-select screen.
How we work
Our news comes from official sources, such as publisher, developer and PR agency announcements, and from trusted outlets, always credited. Learn more in our Editorial Standards and Corrections Policy.
