Come along, because today is a party: Stellar Blade Complete Edition launches this Thursday, November 5, on Nintendo Switch 2. It is the first time EVE’s adventure lands on a Nintendo console, and Shift Up is bringing the whole package, as we covered when this version was announced.

According to Shift Up, the launch is simultaneous worldwide, at midnight on November 6 in Korea and Japan, which works out to 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET / 3 p.m. GMT today. The eShop listing lines up with that: the pre-order bonus applies to purchases made by 11:59 p.m. Japan time on November 5.

What’s in the Complete Edition

The official eShop listing includes the base game plus the content of the Stellar Blade x NieR:Automata and Stellar Blade x GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLC, with part of it unlocking as you progress through the story. The official Switch 2 site also highlights the Bayonetta collaboration content, the boss challenge mode and photo mode.

Pre-order before the switch flips and you get three cosmetic items for EVE: the Classic Round Glasses, the Ear Armor Earrings and the Planetary Diving Suit (White Edition). What a sweet little gift!

Price, size and languages

On the US Nintendo eShop, the digital version costs $59.99. The estimated download is 25.4 GB, and the game supports 17 languages, including English, Spanish (Spain and Latin America) and Brazilian Portuguese. It plays in TV, tabletop and handheld modes, supports the touch screen and offers HDR on compatible TVs. There is also a free demo on the eShop if you want to try before you buy.

For collectors, Shift Up has also announced a limited physical steelbook edition, planned for November 6 at participating retailers.

30 or 60 frames per second: your call

Shift Up said it targets 60 fps in both docked and handheld modes, using frame generation on top of a 30 fps base. After hearing from demo players, the studio confirmed a toggle to turn frame generation off at launch, for anyone who prefers a steady 30 fps and less input lag.

Stellar Blade debuted on PS5 in April 2024 and reached PC in June 2025. My little gamer heart is happy to finally carry EVE around in my pocket!
