Anyone who wanted the Nintendo Switch 2 – The Legend of Zelda – 40th Anniversary Edition in the US had to be quick. The anniversary console launched on October 29 for $519.99 (the edition does not include a game) and sold out within hours, including on Nintendo’s own store, which restocked the same day.
The next chance has a date, according to the retailers themselves: Target says it restocks the console on November 5 in stores and November 6 online, and Best Buy will have extra stock at its midnight launch events on November 5. That is no coincidence: it is launch day for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake on Switch 2, priced at $59.99.
