Heads up, horror fans: Look Outside, the survival horror RPG that caught everyone off guard on PC, has reached consoles. Since October 30, the day before Halloween, it has been out on PS5, PS4, Switch 2 and Switch for $9.99 on the digital stores.
If you missed it: the game was made solo by Canadian developer Francis Coulombe, published by Devolver Digital, and shadow-dropped on Steam in March 2025, where it passed 500,000 copies sold and holds an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating. The console version was handled by MP2 Games.
The premise is nasty: you play Sam, stuck in an apartment building after a mysterious phenomenon starts turning anyone who looks outside into a monster. To survive, you explore the building for food, weapons and answers, face neighbors who became creatures and make allies among the few who are left. It runs 10 to 12 hours, with more than a dozen bosses and several endings. Fair warning: the body horror is heavy.
