Anyone who grew up with fixed-camera survival horror and relentless stalkers has a date: Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, the final chapter of Italian studio Stormind Games’ trilogy, launches this Tuesday, October 27, on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.

The story

Your daughter has been kidnapped, and to save her you have to enter a nightmare, survive what hunts you and uncover the truth about the Red Nun. Stormind calls it a modern return to classic survival horror with an Italian neo-giallo twist, and the protagonist’s powers include retrocognition, mirror abilities and moth manipulation.

Behind the scenes

Ahead of launch, the studio released its third and final dev diary, with game director Antonio Cutrona and art director Patrik Lega. The video covers hypnosis, stalker encounters, the visual design and inspirations drawn from Sicily, the studio’s home, and shows how gameplay, atmosphere and story came together in Villa Ashmann.

Where to play

On PC, the game is sold on Steam, the Epic Games Store and GOG. A free demo is available on Steam for anyone who wants to try it first.
