Two days after winning PGL Masters Bucharest, FURIA were back on the server on Monday (November 2) and opened IEM Beijing 2026 with a 2-1 win over FaZe Clan. It was not easy: Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo’s team let a map that looked won slip away and needed two strong answers to turn the series around.

Ancient: from 11-2 up to a loss

The series started on Ancient, FaZe’s pick. FURIA dominated the first half on defense, closed it 10-2, won the second pistol round and went 11-2 up. From there FaZe bought everything they could, won the next round and never looked back, flipping the map to 13-11.

Dust2 and Cache: a calm answer

On Dust2, the Brazilians’ pick, FURIA opened 7-0 on the attack, went into halftime with a slim lead and then gave up nothing on the CT side: 13-5. On the deciding map, Cache, FaZe won the pistol, but FURIA took the force-buy round right after, led 8-4 at the half and, after winning the second pistol, did not drop another round on the way to 13-4.

Next match decides a playoff spot

With the win, FURIA stay in their group’s upper bracket and face the winner of Natus Vincere vs. Team Falcons on Tuesday (November 3), with a playoff spot on the line. The match time has not been set yet. IEM Beijing has a US$1.25 million prize pool and is one of the last big events before the Singapore Major in December.

The Bucharest title, which we covered here, paid US$450,000 and took FURIA past US$2.1 million in 2026 prize money, according to Dust2 Brasil: the second-highest total of the year, behind only Vitality with US$3.5 million.
