It started badly: Nemiga crushed them on Ancient, 13-2. FURIA answered in kind, 13-5 on Dust2 and 13-2 on Cache. On Mirage, FURIA’s pick, they tied it up after a rough first half but lost 13-11. It all came down to Nuke, where FURIA closed it 13-6.

The standout was YEKINDAR, with 82 kills to 57 deaths and the highest rating of the final, followed by KSCERATO and captain FalleN, according to the match stats published by Dust2 Brasil.

It is FURIA’s second title of the season and second in a row, after defending their Thunderpick World Championship crown in Malta. The team now heads into its Asian run: IEM Beijing, which starts overnight Sunday into Monday, BLAST Rivals in Hong Kong and, to close the year, the Major in Singapore.
