What stands out here is the change of stage. gamescom latam 2027 announced its first headline attraction on Thursday, October 29: the 10th-anniversary edition of Prêmio eSports Brasil (PEB), Latin America’s biggest games and esports awards, will take place inside the show. gamescom latam runs April 22 to 25, 2027, at Distrito Anhembi in São Paulo, Brazil.
After nine editions traditionally held in December, PEB, which has recognized the biggest names in Brazilian games and esports for a decade, moves to a new stage. A highlight is the red carpet, which gamescom latam attendees will be able to watch up close as athletes, content creators, streamers and personalities arrive. The ceremony itself keeps its identity, with seating reserved for guests. According to the organizers, the goal is to bring the awards closer to the community and introduce its legacy to new audiences.
The other new feature is Fandom Meetups, a first for the show that will bring together people with shared interests, such as card games, board games and more, for activities on the show floor. A nice touch for anyone going with friends: it is a chance to find your crowd in the middle of the halls. More details will be revealed soon.
gamescom latam is the Latin American edition of Germany’s gamescom, organized by Koelnmesse, Omelete Company, BIG Festival and game, the German games industry association. It also hosts the gamescom latam BIG Festival, an awards show for independent games. Tickets and the 2027 schedule have not been announced yet.
