Anyone who taped songs off the radio in Vice City will appreciate this one. Grand Theft Auto VI now has a big name behind its music: Rockstar Games announced on Thursday, October 29, that the game’s original score is composed by Justice, the Grammy-winning French duo of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay.

According to Rockstar, it is an adaptive score: the compositions shift dynamically with the different ways players engage with Vice City and the state of Leonida throughout Jason and Lucia’s story. It is the first time the series has handed its original score to such a well-known electronic act.

The Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score album arrives on December 11 on all major streaming services, as well as on CD and vinyl, including a limited Triple Crystal Clear vinyl. It has 30 tracks, including “Flower in a Hurricane” featuring Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, as heard in the launch trailer, and the new single “Pusher” featuring Gesaffelstein, out today. Every format also includes digital bonus tracks.

The score is separate from the game’s other record: Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, with songs from the in-game radio, comes out on November 19, the same day as the game. Rockstar also has previews of select radio stations in the music section of the official site.

And for anyone who saw “GTA delayed” climbing in search over the last few hours: Rockstar has announced no delay so far. GTA 6 is still set for November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with pre-download from November 12. Price, editions and everything confirmed so far are in our GTA 6 guide.
