Phantom Blade Zero is another video game hit from an Eastern studio.

At around 11 a.m. Brasília time on October 29, 2026, Phantom Blade Zero, probably the most important release of the month, had 722,000 concurrent players on Steam, according to SteamDB.

Update (October 29, 6 p.m. Brasília time): the day’s peak rose to 723,876 concurrent players, the game’s record on Steam so far, according to SteamDB.

For a single-player game, in the middle of the week, that is an excellent number.

The total is certainly higher, since the game also launched on the Epic Games Store and on PSN for PlayStation 5, with a physical edition promised for 2027.

And it has a good chance of hitting one million concurrent players over the weekend, when more players will have free time to play.

Phantom Blade Zero was developed and published by S-GAME, received excellent scores on review aggregators and is surely the most important game of October.
