What stands out about this crossover is how well it fits: Capcom has brought Delicious in Dungeon, Ryoko Kui’s manga about a party that cooks and eats the monsters of a dungeon, into the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen. The limited-time collaboration arrived on November 4 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and Nintendo Switch 2 players can join in on Wednesday, November 11.
Laios and Marcille as Official Pawns
The headline addition is a pair of Official Pawns: the heavily armored Laios and the elven mage Marcille. They can be recruited from Riftstones in places such as towns to support the Arisen throughout their journey. One detail worth noting: they are only available until the title update on Thursday, January 28, 2027, on all platforms. The official Dragon’s Dogma 2 website lists the recruitment details.
Outfits that stay
Arisen who load their Dragon’s Dogma 2 or Dark Arisen save data during the collaboration automatically receive special outfits modeled after Laios’ and Marcille’s attire, added to in-game storage. Both the Arisen and Pawns can wear them, and once redeemed they remain available after the event ends. The same title update also includes bug fixes for various platforms.
Where Delicious in Dungeon comes from
In the story, Laios’ sister is devoured by a Red Dragon deep inside a dungeon, and he heads back down with Marcille and other companions to rescue her, cooking the monsters they meet along the way. The anime adaptation aired in 2024 and became a hit in Japan and internationally.
