Seeker Eye, MAGES.' supernatural suspense game from the Steins;Gate and Chaos;Child team, launches February 25, 2027 in Japan and adds a Switch 2 version.
Come with me, but keep the lights on: Seeker Eye, the new suspense game from MAGES., now has a date. It launches on February 25, 2027 in Japan, and the newly released animated opening also confirmed a Nintendo Switch 2 version. It had previously been set only for winter 2026 in Japan.
The most intriguing detail: the team is the same one behind the Science Adventure series, Steins;Gate and Chaos;Child, known for explaining mysteries through logic and science. This time it goes the opposite way, into the supernatural. It all starts with a ghost story, “The House with the Red Roof”, posted on the company’s YouTube channel since 2024, and the idea is that the player who reads it becomes “invaded by the supernatural”. A cute little scare… or maybe not.
There is no Western release announced yet.
