Rune-Midgard just got chilly: Ragnarök Online LATAM received a big update to close out October, with Episode 19: Issgard, Land of Winter Flowers, two new instances, the traditional Harvest Festival and a special Black Friday event.
The episode takes adventurers to a frozen region that stayed isolated for a long time behind a powerful force field. After the events of Episode 18 and the discovery of Bagot’s plans, there is finally a way to cross the barrier and reach Issgard. With help from the administrators of Varmunt Manor and the Automatons, the mission is to continue the investigation into Bagot and find the fragment of Ymir’s heart he stole. The journey runs through the Ice Castle, the region’s guardians, the Eagle Patrol and the Serpent’s Nest. The main quest is for characters at Base level 200 or higher and requires completing “Path of Prayer,” the last quest of the Grey Wolf Village.
The two new instances, also for level 200+, open after the “Chaotic Serpent’s Nest” quest. In Combat Simulation, the party faces Simulated Juncea once a day, built from data on the monster Juncea turned into. In Airship Destruction Operation, the goal is to infiltrate the place where Illusion keeps its unmanned airship and take it out of action for a while.
The update also brings a reset of the Airplane Crash instance, the Prontera Food Festival and a Black Friday Use & Win event that gives rewards based on the amount of Joy Coins spent. Harvest festivals are always a treat.
