This one is a treat for collectors: Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf got the Kindred Spirits Edition on Thursday, October 29, a special physical edition for PS5. The Nintendo Switch 2 version arrives on November 12. It comes from Wishfully Studios, Thunderful (acquired by Atari in 2025) and Microids.
Look at everything in the PS5 box: the game on disc, an exclusive box, a 48-page artbook, a sticker sheet, three art cards and the Supporter Pack DLC, for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99. On Switch 2, the edition includes a download code instead of a cartridge, with the same extras, for $34.99 / €34.99.
For anyone new to it, Planet of Lana II is a cinematic puzzle adventure in which Lana and her little companion, Mui, must stand together as greed and the struggle for power divide the tribes of their planet. The world is hand-painted, there is no spoken dialogue (characters use an alien language), and it mixes physics puzzles with action sequences and stealth. Lana is now older and more agile, with wall jumps and smoother movement.
The reviews are lovely too: PlayStation Universe and Nintendo Life gave it 9/10, and Polygon called it “the best game I’ve played yet in 2026.” The game also just arrived in Early Access on Android, with iOS pre-orders coming soon.
On PC, Planet of Lana II is available on Steam.
