Readers of Erin Hunter’s Warrior Cats books can now live in the Clans’ forest: Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest, an action-adventure RPG based on the novels, is out now on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). It is published by TRAILMARK Games with Four Trees Media and, according to its Steam page, developed by Peru’s Bamtang Games.

Create your cat and pick your Clan

You build your own warrior cat, with ears, eyes, fur and markings, choose one of four Clans, each with its own full story, and rise through the ranks defending your home. The routine includes hunting and foraging, strengthening bonds with allies and decorating your den, which friends can visit online.

Turn-based combat and prophecies

Fights are turn-based, with timing, stances and special Clan moves, plus ancestor attacks granted by StarClan. Choices shape relationships and reputation through branching stories, and the map covers familiar territories from the books, like the Moonpool and the Island, with famous cats from the series alongside a new cast.

The standard edition costs $29.99; the $39.99 Feral Edition adds Cat Creator elements, accessories and photo mode options.
