Sloclap launched Rematch Season 6 on Friday, October 23, and the big change is a new way to measure progress: player level is out, Contracts and Badges are in. What stands out is the idea behind it: making every match count, not just the goals.
Contracts replace player level
Contracts are a milestone-based profile progression system. Playing earns experience, your contract tier rises, and to move on you need to meet requirements, collecting rewards along the way. Veterans lose nothing: Legacy Rewards recognize the progress made before Season 6.
Badges for every playstyle
A lovely touch: Badges reward what you do on the pitch beyond scoring, such as creating chances, breaking up attacks, beating opponents on the ball, protecting the goal or making the decisive play. You can choose which ones to show on your Player Card and display them during celebrations and post-match Victory Moods. From playmaker to last line of defense, it all counts.
Vanguard or Glitch
The season pits two visions of the game against each other with the Vanguard and Glitch cosmetic lines, nature versus creation, and players pick a side.
What is next
Netcode 2.0, a major overhaul of the network systems designed to cut desyncs and rollbacks and make on-ball interactions fairer, rolls out progressively during the season. Halloween and holiday events are coming too, along with deals of up to 60% off; on Steam, the game is already 60% off right now.
Rematch, the third-person 3v3 to 5v5 football game with no fouls or offsides from the makers of Sifu and Absolver, is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
