Ratchet & Clank celebrates 20 years

Ratchet & Clank turns 20 with free items in the franchise’s latest game and new additions to PS Plus Premium. See what was released.

Ratchet & Clank celebrates 20 years of existence with free items in the franchise’s latest game and new additions to PSN Plus Premium.

The first game in the franchise was released in 2002 for PlayStation 2, and Sony decided to release an Armor Pack for the latest game, Rift Apart, which includes 5 new armors based on older games in the franchise.

Besides the Armor Pack, Sony said the other games in the franchise will be added to the PSN Plus Premium tier on November 15.

Unfortunately, we Brazilians cannot enjoy these games, because they only work via streaming.

Here in Brazil, the Deluxe tier replaces the Premium tier precisely because of the lack of streaming games.

Already available on PlayStation Plus Premium:

  • Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus (PS3)

Coming on November 15:

  • Ratchet & Clank (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank: Deadlocked (PS3)
  • Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (PS3)

The full post published on the PS Blog Brasil includes comments from key people who took part in the development of the games, and several concept arts and sketches.
