Correct choice of equipment.

Target history

Mashle ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from January 2020 to July 2023, for 18 volumes. The premise: in a world where magic decides a person’s worth, Mash was born with none. He made up for it with extreme physical training and enters a magic school to prove he deserves a place, settling spells with his fists. Viz Media publishes the manga in English.

The anime, by studio A-1 Pictures, aired its first season in April 2023 and its second in January 2024, both 12 episodes long and streamed by Crunchyroll. The third season, The Tri-Magicathlon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc, premieres in January 2027, also on Crunchyroll. The franchise also includes novels, two stage plays and the smartphone game Mashle: Muscle Puzzle, launched in April 2025.

Assessment: a productive week for adaptations with real actors. Earlier today it was Naruto, whose live-action movie added Sony as a partner.
