The Evolution Championship Series, Evo, announced on Tuesday (27) the games and attractions of Evo Brazil 2027, the first Brazilian edition of the fighting game festival.

The event takes place from March 26 to 28, 2027 at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, and competitor registration and ticket sales open today through the official website, EvoBrazil.gg.

The announcement was already scheduled: as we reported on October 17, the organizers had set aside this date to reveal the news about the Brazilian edition.

The Evo Brazil 2027 games

The official lineup has eight titles:

  • Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game (PM Studios and Paramount Games)
  • FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves (SNK Corporation)
  • Guilty Gear -Strive- (Arc System Works)
  • Mortal Kombat 1 (Warner Bros. Games)
  • Street Fighter 6 (Capcom)
  • TEKKEN 8 (Bandai Namco Entertainment)
  • THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV (SNK Corporation)
  • MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls (Sony Interactive Entertainment)

According to the organizers, the guaranteed minimum total prize pool is R$ 1 million, split across all the games on the list. SNK is the only company with two games in the lineup, FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves and THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV, and the list mixes veteran series with newcomers such as Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game and MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls.

Attractions beyond the tournaments

Evo Brazil will also have an Evo Museum, an Artist Alley, a cosplay exhibition and community meetups, plus stores with official products and exclusive items from brands and creators tied to the fighting game community (FGC). Another attraction is the BYOC (Bring Your Own Community), a space where the fans themselves organize tournaments, including for games that were left out of the official lineup.

São Paulo in Evo history

Rick Thiher, Evo’s general manager, recalled that the city is already part of fighting game history, from the arcades where the Brazilian community was formed to the Versus: Evo South America tournaments, organized by the community itself in 2008 and 2009. For him, bringing Evo to São Paulo is a way to honor that legacy and to show the passion of Brazilian players to the global community.

Evo is owned by RTS, which operates the event and confirmed Visa and PlayStation Tournaments among the global partners of the Brazilian edition. Founded in 2002, Evo holds tournaments in the United States, Japan and France, and from 2027 will also have an edition in Singapore, always with brackets open to any competitor.

How to watch

Those who can’t make it to Expo Center Norte will be able to watch the matches on Twitch (twitch.tv/evo) and on YouTube (youtube.com/@evoevents).

Evo Brazil has its own profile, @EvoFGCBR, on X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
