Arc Games brought two announcements to the Galaxies Showcase: Frosthaven, the digital adaptation of the acclaimed board game, has left Early Access and is out now in 1.0 on PC, and NAUTUS, the new game from the makers of Have a Nice Death, shadow-dropped an open beta.

The complete Frosthaven

Developed by Bulgaria’s Snapshot Games, co-founded by original X-COM creator Julian Gollop, the dark fantasy tactical RPG is the spiritual successor to Gloomhaven. Version 1.0 delivers the full board game campaign, including the final chapter and all 17 heroes, a digital-only introduction to ease newcomers in, hero videos, an in-game Codex, improved co-op multiplayer and customizable House Rules.

“FROSTHAVEN was a huge undertaking as a board game, so seeing it all come together in digital format has been really rewarding,” said Gloomhaven creator Isaac Childres.

Frosthaven costs $39.99 on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

NAUTUS open beta

From France’s Magic Design Studios, NAUTUS is a cozy-meets-eerie co-op adventure for up to four players: you arrive at a remote island research station, find the scientists have developed a mysterious fear of the ocean, and take the helm of an upgradable submarine to fight mutant creatures while building up a tropical base on land. The open beta is live on Steam.

He covers indies, pixel art and art direction, and can write three paragraphs about a jump animation. He has never been seen without his captain’s cap, not even in photos (which, let’s be honest, are all drawn).
