Total Mayhem Games has confirmed that We Were Here Tomorrow, the next chapter in the cooperative puzzle and adventure series We Were Here, launches on October 20 on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game will have crossplay across all three platforms from launch.

We Were Here Tomorrow launch trailer
In the release date reveal trailer, creative director Martín Mittner talks about the new setting, the gameplay and the evolution of the We Were Here experience.

A new retrofuturistic setting
We Were Here Tomorrow swaps the medieval mood of the previous games for a retrofuturistic setting inspired by an imagined 1980s future. Even so, the game keeps the world and gameplay fans know, with familiar references and new mechanics that demand communication and cooperation in new ways.
Key features
- A shared adventure: two Explorers are trapped in a mysterious facility and can only count on each other to uncover its secrets.
- Asymmetric cooperative puzzles: each player sees the facility differently. Communication happens through walkie-talkies, and the puzzles play with time, gravity and space.
- Two distinct roles: each player has their own high-tech tool, and you must combine them to overcome obstacles.
- An 1980s mystery: explore Norček Industries, find out what happened to the missing research team and enjoy a synthwave soundtrack.
The biggest adventure in the We Were Here series
Almost ten years after the first game, We Were Here has become a franchise of five titles and more than 15 million players. With more than 350 thousand wishlist additions, We Were Here Tomorrow promises to be the biggest adventure in the series so far.
The game can already be wishlisted on the We Were Here Tomorrow Steam page. If you like playing in pairs, also check out the Rayman Legends Retold trailer and the other October 2026 releases.
