Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is releasing 1 character a month, but in October there will be 2.

Today at Nintendo’s Direct, a Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves trailer appeared, confirming that the Nintendo Switch 2 will get an edition of the game.

And then, out of nowhere, a teaser appeared for two characters from the anime Tokyo Revengers, whose next season premieres in October.
A few minutes later, SNK confirmed on its official social networks that “Mikey” and “Draken” will be the October characters of Season 3.

The teaser has no date, but the press release published by SNK confirmed the characters’ release date: October 22, 2026.
It is the same date the game arrives on the Switch 2.

I thought this crossover was cool, with a punch-in-the-face-and-kick-in-the-teeth manga/anime, and I also liked that the two characters take up just 1 slot in the season.
That way it still keeps 1 slot for the mystery character who will be released in December.

And I almost forgot to mention, anyone who pre-orders this Switch 2 version will receive Mai’s classic outfit, which people on the internet have been asking for since before the game launched.

For now, this is the only way to get that Mai skin, but SNK has already said this DLC will be sold separately in the future.

SNK deserves congratulations. Today had all of this, and no gameplay video of Kim, who will be September’s character, has even been shown yet.
