Monster Hunter Wilds gets a demo with the game’s opening section

Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest game in Capcom’s franchise.

The Monster Hunter Wilds Prologue Demo lets you enjoy the game from the prologue until you complete the “Toward the Forest” mission.

*Please be aware that online features are not available in the demo version.
*You can earn in-game medals in the Prologue Demo, but the achievements tied to those medals will not be unlocked.

Transferring save data to the full version

You can transfer the save data from this demo to the full version of the game.
Notes:
– You do not need to finish the demo to transfer your save file.
*Achievements earned in the Prologue Demo can be kept when transferring the save data to the full version of the game.
Also, although many achievements tied to in-game medals can be unlocked by completing a mission just once in the full version, you will have to meet the requirements again to unlock the achievement.
– You will not be able to transfer the demo’s save data if you already have a save file for the full version.

Story

A few years ago, a young boy named Nata was rescued on the border of the Forbidden Lands, an unexplored region the Guild had yet to investigate.
After hearing the boy’s story of his lone escape from a mysterious monster that attacked his village, the Guild organized an expedition to the Forbidden Lands to investigate.

A Living World

Environments within the Forbidden Lands change drastically with constant, sudden shifts in the weather. During the dreadful Fallow and the dangerous Inclemency, fierce monsters will hunt in packs, but during the Plenty periods, wildlife is rich and abundant.

Monsters

The monsters that inhabit these environments have been forced to adapt to the dynamic changes taking place, using their unique traits to survive and thrive.

Hunting

As the world around them changes, so do the hunters and their tactics. Not only will hunters have a wide variety of weapons and armor to choose from, but the art of hunting itself has evolved, with hunters learning to anticipate monsters’ behavior and becoming familiar with the environment.
