Microsoft shuts down Copilot for Xbox and mobile

Microsoft shuts down Copilot on mobile and stops its development on Xbox consoles as the division's leadership changes, with veterans promoted.

Microsoft

Microsoft says it will deepen its connection with players and developers.

Xbox CEO Asha Sharna posted on Twitter that she has made some changes to Xbox leadership, promoting long-time employees who helped create Xbox while also bringing in new people.

She also said the company will drop features that don’t fit the direction Xbox is currently pursuing.

And to start things off, Microsoft is shutting down Copilot on mobile devices and stopping development of Copilot on Xbox consoles.
