The King of Fighters XV announces DLC teams

The King of Fighters XV announces four DLC teams, starting with the Garou Team in March, with Rock Howard and others. See SNK's plan.

The King of Fighters XV today announced its DLC release plan, revealing that there will be 4 new teams.

Team 1, coming out in March, is the Garou Team, made up of Rock Howard, Gato and B. Jenet. All of these fighters debuted in Garou: Mark of the Wolves.

Team 2 is the South Town Team, with Geese Howard, Billy Kane and Ryuji Yamazaki, and will be released in May.

Geese and Rock Howard appear together here because in the KOF timeline Geese never fell from his tower, so he didn’t die as in the Fatal Fury timeline.

Besides these two teams, there will also be Teams 3 and 4, which will be released in the American Summer and Fall. They will possibly be sold in a probable Team Pass 2.

Unfortunately, the fighters in those teams were not revealed, but at least we got gameplay of the whole of Team 1, as seen in the video right below:

The King of Fighters XV will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S and X, and PC on February 14, 2022.

Unfortunately, that date falls right between the releases of other games gamers have been eagerly waiting for: Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring.
