Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin gets a final trailer, showing new story scenes.
From what we know so far, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin is a side story set in the world of the first Final Fantasy, the one from the famous Squaresoft, which some time later merged with the other famous company, Enix, to form the Square Enix that exists to this day.
The game is being developed by Koei Tecmo, and has a “Soulslike” gameplay system, considering that the same SOPFFO team also made the excellent Nioh.
The trailer is age-restricted, so you have to be logged in to your YouTube account to watch it.
The trailer’s tagline says The End is Near, and the Four Demons of Chaos are waiting, so it’s time to defeat them, however you want.
It seems some young warriors were summoned to the world of the first Final Fantasy, and get involved in the prophecy of the Hero of Light, the one who will defeat evil and free the world from darkness.
The game is set for release on March 18, 2022 with versions for PS5/PS4, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
