After the leak earlier in the day, Arc System Works officially released the trailer for Baiken, the 4th Season Pass character of its latest release, Guilty Gear Strive.
Baiken is one of the most famous characters in the franchise and is much loved by fans, so it was obvious she wouldn’t be in the initial roster of fighters and would be put out as DLC to boost sales of this kind of content.
Watching the trailer and the character guide video, it seems they changed quite a lot of her gameplay style compared to previous games.
Baiken, along with a new stage called Lap of the Kami, will be available on January 28 for those who have the Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass, and on January 31 it will be available for individual purchase.
Probably in March we will get the last Season Pass character and the second stage, if Arksys follows the DLC schedule pattern so far, releasing content for the game every two months.
And I almost forgot: along with Baiken and the new stage, there will be a free update for everyone: Combo Maker.
This option will let you record your combos and make them available for other users to try to perform them; it will also be possible to search for other players’ combos.
