EA is developing 3 games in the Star Wars universe

EA confirms three Star Wars games in development, led by Respawn Entertainment, including the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order.

In an official statement, EA revealed it is currently developing 3 games based on the Star Wars universe.

Respawn Entertainment is leading the development of these three games.

Director Stig Asmussen (who directed God of War III) and his team are currently working on the franchise’s next action-adventure game, Star Wars Jedi (possibly a Jedi Fallen Order 2), but other new development teams have been created within Respawn for games in other genres.

Peter Hirschmann is the director heading the project for the new first-person shooter.

Hirschmann previously worked at LucasArts and was executive producer of the original Battlefront games. The Star Wars FPS is still at an early stage of work.

And the third game is a strategy game, in the hands of the newly created studio Bit Reactor, headed by veteran Greg Foerstch.

Foerstch is one of the founders of Firaxis Games, and was also art director of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM 2.

Respawn will be in charge of producing the strategy game, while Bit Reactor will handle development.
