After months of rumors and information leaks from regulatory bodies around the world.

Rockstar has finally officially announced GTA The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition for consoles and PC later this year. Versions for Android and iOS will be released in 2022.

There is no specific date yet, but more information, gameplay videos and other news about this version will be released in the coming weeks.

Rockstar promised that besides the already expected graphical improvements, the three games in the package will also get gameplay improvements.

In case anyone still hasn’t understood, the package contains the first three third-person games in the franchise: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

GTA III revolutionized third-person games by popularizing the “open world” that is so common today, and GTA San Andreas delighted the kids on the PS2 and in LAN houses, when it was released for PC.
