Everyone knows about the controversy over No Man’s Sky’s launch, in 2016 on PS4 and PC.
A lot was promised and player hype was sky-high, but the delivered product did not live up to expectations. There were pre-order cancellations and player frustration, but despite the lack of content and the announced features not being implemented, the foundation was there. With good sales, Hello Games’ development team grew exponentially and, from just four developers, a large, competent team was built that kept supporting the game, which spent its first year being substantially changed by three major updates.
Now the game will launch on Xbox One, culminating in the release of the biggest update ever released for the game, dubbed “NEXT” because it will take the game to a new level, implementing many new features, basically recreating and improving everything that was present in the foundation back in 2016, when the game arrived on PS4/PC.
Check out the trailer:
All No Man’s Sky updates are free and the game has no microtransactions. The update arrives on 07/24.
