SavePoint launches OverWrite, a games forum in English, Portuguese and Spanish

SavePoint now has a forum. OverWrite (overwritesave.com) went live on Friday, October 23, as the community space to talk about games, anime and everything we cover here, in Portuguese, English and Spanish.

Its tagline says a lot about the idea: “the games forum for people tired of the industry telling us how to think”. The goal is a place to discuss releases, reviews, prices and controversies calmly, with no algorithm deciding what you see and without the rush of social media.

How it works

• Forums by platform and topic: PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, PC, Mobile, Retro and preservation, Indies, Deals, Anime and manga, Off-topic and a general games space.
• Every thread has its own language (PT, EN or ES), and you can filter the list by language.
• To join in, just sign in with your Google account. Reading is open to everyone, no sign-up needed.
• Posts support bold, italics, quotes, lists, links, images and hidden spoilers. YouTube videos only load when you click them.
• Every new SavePoint story automatically gets an OverWrite thread, and a “Discuss on OverWrite” link appears at the end of each article.

Rules and moderation

Everyone posts freely and moderators act afterwards, based on reports. The rules are short: respect people, no piracy, no adult content or unmarked spoilers, and rumors only with the Rumor tag and the source named. The minimum age is 13. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from your profile.

The forum is new and will grow with its community: notifications, private messages and polls are among the next features. Suggestions are welcome in the “About OverWrite” forum. See you there.
