Dave the Diver gets free final DLC with a Subnautica 2 crossover

Mintrocket revealed the final DLC for Dave the Diver at the Triple-i Initiative Showcase: a content pack made with Unknown Worlds that brings the world of Subnautica 2 into the game. The expansion is free and arrives in early 2027.

Off to Proteus

In the Subnautica 2 Content Pack, Dave and Bancho travel across dimensions to the ocean moon of Proteus, full of unfamiliar creatures and valuable resources. There they make new discoveries, unlock strange and exotic recipes and help new friends, all while facing the Leviathan, Subnautica 2’s signature giant creature.

“For our final DLC expansion, we wanted to create something that felt especially meaningful, and a Subnautica collaboration is what players have been asking us about for a long time,” said Mintrocket Studio Director Jaeho Hwang. “We hope this collaboration gives them one more fresh and surprising adventure with Dave and his friends, old and new.”
