Listen up, cycling crowd: Tour de France 2025, the race’s official game, made by Cyanide Studio and published by NACON, has opened pre-orders and arrives on June 5, 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

What comes in the package

Those who pre-order get three classic jerseys from past editions of the Tour:

  • The Masterpiece: Tour de France 2022, Team Jumbo-Visma
  • The Velodrome: Tour de France 2023, Team Jumbo-Visma
  • The Rebirth: Tour de France 2024, Team Visma | Lease a Bike

The edition changes engines and now runs on Unreal Engine 5, with all 21 stages recreated in the fight for the yellow jersey. You can race with real cyclists or create your own in Pro Leader mode. The novelties include the Flèche Wallonne and Circuit Grand Est races, plus multiplayer improvements.

Straight talk

Let’s go: a new engine is the change that weighs most in a simulator that lives on scenery and the peloton. For cycling fans, it’s arrived with a bang; now it remains to be seen whether the new look comes with smarter racing too.
