Listen up: there are car games with guns, and there are car games with guns that want you doing pirouettes in the air. Death Blonde, from the Italian independent team Demon Girl, is an online multiplayer arena game in which cars are weapons, stages for stunts and a reason for plenty of drama.
The air is the heart of the game
What sets Death Blonde apart from other vehicular combat games is the aerial system. Barrel rolls, flips, mid-air dodges and shooting in full flight are not decoration: according to the studio, they are essential to dominate matches. Whoever lands an aerial takedown, the so-called “air kill”, earns medals, visual highlights and temporary power-ups that can turn the match around.
Arenas designed for chaos
Each map has ramps, loops, dynamic obstacles and destructible elements. The idea isn’t just to speed, but to read the arena, predict the opponent’s movement and find the right moment for the play of the century.
The modes include classic free-for-all deathmatch, team battles and objective modes. You can also customize the look of the cars, the weapons and even the visual effects of the stunts. It arrived with a bang and with style, as it should.

Demon Girl was founded in 2021 in Lucca, Italy, by developers who grew up playing Twisted Metal and Borderlands, and is known for Demoniaca: Everlasting Night. The team summed up the ambition like this: “We didn’t just want to create another vehicular combat game. We want players to feel like stars, where every second in the arena can become an unforgettable moment.”
How to join the beta
The beta test is for PC, with servers in Europe and the United States, and all participants receive exclusive in-game rewards. Sign-up is done through an official form, and the studio plans to bring the game to consoles later. You can add the game to your wishlist on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
