Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound – Kumori Gameplay and Imminent Release!

Dotemu (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Streets of Rage 4) and The Game Kitchen (Blasphemous) have revealed a new gameplay trailer for NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound, featuring the skilled Kumori, the second protagonist.

This side-scrolling action platformer draws inspiration from KOEI TECMO GAMES’ two NINJA GAIDEN trilogies. The adventure arrives this summer on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Kumori: A Ninja from the Black Spider Clan

Kumori, a member of the Black Spider clan, the main antagonist of the Ninja Gaiden series, has a unique fighting style. She uses modern weapons and demonic powers to achieve her goals. The trailer shows her devastating powers and the challenges that await her.

Plot and Gameplay Mechanics

NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound begins right after the initial events of the original Ninja Gaiden for the NES. The veil between the human and demon realms is torn, plunging both worlds into darkness. Kenji Mozu, a young ninja of the Hayabusa clan, faces the forces of evil while Ryu Hayabusa sets out to avenge his father’s death.

The fates of Kenji and Kumori cross, forcing them to overcome old rivalries between their clans. To survive, they must use the forbidden power that will fuse their spirits, using the “Ninja Fusion”.

Action, Challenges and Pixel Art

Kenji and Kumori’s journey will take them to epic battles against powerful enemies. The game offers powers to upgrade, hidden items, secret missions and optional challenges.

NINJA GAIDEN: Ragebound modernizes the series’ combat, demanding precision and a cool head. The stunning pixel art evokes the classics, with incredible detail and fluid animations. The soundtrack, composed by renowned musicians, promises to be unforgettable.
