Hey, what’s up? Starting a new panel, yadda yadda, here are some really top-notch isekai recommendations to watch. I’ll try to focus on anime with 13 episodes or fewer to start with
TSUKIMICHI -Moonlit Fantasy-
Japanese name: Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu
Makoto Misumi falls asleep and wakes up in the same world his parents originally came from. The reason to watch it is in the image above
Skeleton Knight in Another World
Japanese name: Gaikotsu Kishi-sama, Tadaima Isekai e Odekake-chū)
Besides having one of the most badass openings you can find, the anime’s sense of humor is great. Some dude fell asleep playing and woke up in the game world with the skin he had picked
It’s almost Overlord again
The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat
Japanese name: Sekai Saikō no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru
The hero in the other world will become a villain and destroy the world, so the goddess summons a ton of people to stop the guy. The killer protagonist is the last of them. Good for killing time.
The Aristocrat’s Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far
Japanese name: Tensei Kizoku no Isekai Boukenroku: Jichou wo Shiranai Kamigami no Shito
Total no-strings Power Fantasy, the protagonist is a beast at everything he does, his sister has a brother complex, but at least he gets a harem of fiancées, and not of fans in love with him.
I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too
Japanese name: Isekai de Chīto Sukiru o Te ni Shita Ore wa, Genjitsu Sekai o mo Musō Suru: Reberu Appu wa Jinsei o Kaeta
OR Iserebe for close friends
Maybe you have heard of Mushoku Tensei and how the protagonist first learns to overcome the traumas of his past life and so on.
Here there is none of that. A fat protagonist inherits a house with a hidden portal, gets the most OP weapons on the face of the earth and reaches level 200 by killing the first mob he finds from inside a barrier where only he can deal damage, besides ending up with 5% body fat overnight (or from night to day). Oh, he can also convert the other world’s loot into real-world money.
It is Power Fantasy in a terrible way, just to pass the time. But it is important to watch something passable once in a while to truly appreciate what is good.
Well, that’s it for now. Soon I’ll be back with 5 more recommendations of whatever I feel like.
