Microsoft pledges 10 years of Call of Duty on Nintendo

Microsoft pledges Call of Duty on Nintendo consoles for the next 10 years, Xbox head Phil Spencer announces on his Twitter account.

Microsoft has committed to bringing Call of Duty to Nintendo consoles for the next 10 years.

Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, said on his Twitter account that Microsoft is committed to bringing the Call of Duty franchise to Nintendo for the next 10 years, if the Activision Blizzard acquisition is approved by regulators.

Spencer also said Microsoft is committed to continuing to release Call of Duty on Steam at the same time as the Xbox versions, once the merger between the two companies is complete.

As for Sony, Microsoft vice chair and president Brad Smith said that Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard will bring the Call of Duty franchise to more platforms. And that they are open to a 10-year deal with Sony in the same way they did with Nintendo.

Sony, according to rumors, is actively talking to regulators in several parts of the world so that this purchase by Microsoft is viewed unfavorably and treated as a monopoly.
