Street Fighter 6 announcement trailer shows first gameplay

Street Fighter 6 gets an announcement trailer with first gameplay: an urban look, new music and several changes from Street Fighter V.

Capcom has released the first gameplay of Street Fighter 6.

In the trailer we could see many changes compared to Street Fighter V, such as the music, the more urban look, and a bit of the new gameplay system.

The game features the Drive System, those little green bars below the health bar. They will be used for defensive techniques and also for offense.

The Drive System is the main gameplay element, and managing it will be very important to secure wins.

Besides the Drive System, Capcom is also bringing a mode in which professional commentators from the competitive fighting game scene call the fight in real time.

Capcom is releasing information bit by bit, announcing the launch roster characters (despite the leak) and the new theme songs for each character.

Street Fighter 6 was announced for 2023, with no set date or release window, and will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series and PC (Steam). Apparently Xbox One was left out and will not get a version.
