PlayStation exclusive Wild reportedly canceled

Wild, the PlayStation exclusive from Wild Sheep Studio, has reportedly been canceled, according to journalist Jeff Grubb in a Giant Bomb video.

The PlayStation exclusive Wild appears to have been canceled. The information came from journalist Jeff Grubb who said in a Giant Bomb video:

“There is no more Wild … Wild is dead. I think Michel Ancel left the project … he is no longer working on it, the project has been shut down.” Grubb goes on to say that the team developing the game “was thinking about trying to stay together and work on other projects … I don’t know what happened with that, but they said, ‘We are no longer working on [Wild], but we have a lot of talent here, so maybe we can work on some things’.”

Wild was an open-world game in which we would control a shaman with the ability to take control of various animals and ask the gods for help to complete their objectives. The game was announced in 2014, then made an appearance at Paris Games Week in 2015, and nothing had been heard of it since. Check out the latest trailer (2015):
