The Surge 2, which was announced earlier this year by Focus Home Interactive, is a futuristic-themed action game with brutal battles, and has just received its first gameplay video.
The 52-second video was released at Gamescom 2018 and showed important information about the game, from weapons and abilities to combat mechanics.
Combat appeared faster and more brutal than in its previous title, with new mechanics and new weapons, all being used against enemies and a possible boss.
The official statement released along with the trailer said that new weapons, drones, implants and modifications were added for greater player customization.
Besides the gameplay, the trailer showed a city in ruins and very well-made forest areas.
The game will come out for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, planned for 2019.
