Sexism is absolutely reprehensible in all strata of society. It is ugly for women, ugly for men, for children, and for any and every ordinary citizen. Very well.
The player L. E. A. (16) made a PUBLIC post on her social network, saying she was a victim of “envy,” and that the ban was because she told a person that “she had the fucking male chromosome.” Okay? Not so okay. Riot has adopted a somewhat heavier policy regarding increasingly recurrent accusations of sexism, racism, homophobia, among others. So this “player” has just joined the select hall of the 0.006% of players who had their accounts permanently banned for inappropriate/toxic behavior.
On social media, in a post published with PUBLIC visibility, her words were exactly these: “I wanted to make my annoyance very clear, today, June 5, 2018, I got a permanent ban from lol for telling a person that she had the fucking male chromosome AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA’ I was lv 103, I spent my whole fucking money on this game and got banned it’s incredible how envy is such a strong thing I’m very shocked but ok I know it was deserved but it’s really bad to get banned vsf auhsaushasuas (sic)”. But, it seems, people are already well aware of the “fame” of ‘Ele na’
A series of errors
But an attitude as regrettable and sad as this one is that of those who decided to leave their “pill of hatred” in the form of a comment/image on the girl’s post. A rain of hatred and sarcasm that makes us reflect even more, not only on the direction our Brazilian players are heading, but also on society itself. No, players! Not citizens! This is not how one acts in a situation like this! What this girl needs now is understanding (remember, children are the mirror of their own family, so maybe the blame is not 100% hers alone), and words that make her grow personally, and not grow more and more bitter with anger at people.
So, dearest SavePoint reader, whether in personal life or in the online world, respect is good, and avoids permanent bans. Oh, and we here sincerely hope that companies take perhaps even more severe measures (aka criminal prosecution + compensation) against this kind of behavior, who knows, then these “citizens” will stop and reflect on what they do on the internet. We hope not to have to bring you news like this, but rather the opposite, such as good examples and good attitudes that inspire people and players to be better. We are watching!
