What stands out in UnderMire is the arsenal: instead of swords and rifles, you fight with a camcorder, a piggy bank, a spell tome and a bat. Table Knight Games’ first-person co-op roguelite arrives on PC via Steam on November 13, 2026, to play solo or with up to three friends.
A bunker that changes on every descent
The idea is to descend through a magical bunker that reshapes itself every run, full of different biomes, traps, puzzles and fear-fueled monsters. That fear is literal: there is a panic gauge to manage while you secure generators, hunt for secrets and try not to get hunted by the creatures below. It is all hand-drawn, a lovely touch for a genre that usually leans on grim realism.
Junk becomes weapons
The central mechanic is called SMUSH: you gather the junk you find along the way and turn it into elemental weapons, healing items and improvised explosives. Each character arrives with their own magical tool, which changes how they fight and how the group plans, and you can see the care in giving each one its own personality.
The one giving orders is McClane, a grumpy ginger spirit cat who hands out tasks, insults and the occasional bit of help. Among his missions is, of course, changing the litter box.
Who it is for
UnderMire recalls the co-op chaos of games like Lethal Company and R.E.P.O., but with a roguelite structure and run-based progression. The Steam page lists full controller support, including DualShock and DualSense, and online co-op. Pricing has not been announced yet.
