Come along, there is a party on your phone: Honor of Kings is celebrating another anniversary of its global launch, with a new hero, free gifts and events running until November 5. And the sweetest look of the celebration has a real story behind it.
Dunshan, the team’s shield
The new hero is Dunshan, a tank/support who turns into a shield to protect teammates and reduce the damage they take. Players who joined the pre-launch event on October 14 got him for free. For everyone else he costs 13,888 Asterites or 588 Tokens, with 50% off in his first week: 294 Tokens.
The Millennium Tower
The collaboration skin “Dunshan’s Millennium Tower” is inspired by the wooden pagoda of Yingxian County, in Shanxi province, northern China. Built in 1056, it is the oldest and tallest multi-story wooden structure still standing in the world. To earn the skin, you collect figures by logging in, playing matches and sharing with friends; the game fuses your two highest-scoring figures once a day, and the points go to the event shop. The skin can be redeemed from October 29. Careful: figures reset at the daily refresh, so don’t forget to combine them.
More gifts until November
Until November 5, cumulative logins unlock a free anniversary voice pack featuring content creators. On October 30, LIMBO Wish returns with a new Changgong set and guaranteed skins: a Rare within 10 spins, an Epic within 20 and two Legendaries, within 30 and 36 spins. The same day a farming event begins, where you plant, water and harvest to earn coins and a LIMBO and Halloween themed outfit. How cute.
Developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by Tencent’s Level Infinite, Honor of Kings is free on the App Store, Google Play and the Samsung Galaxy Store. According to Level Infinite, the game passed 260 million monthly active players in 2025.
