Verdansk is coming to mobile. To celebrate its seventh anniversary, Call of Duty: Mobile will add the series’ most famous Battle Royale map on November 12, the first time it appears in the game.

What is coming

Activision describes Verdansk as one of the most iconic locations in the Call of Duty universe, and the goal is to bring the Battle Royale experience the map became known for to mobile devices.

The Señal Verdansk tournament

The map arrives alongside Señal Verdansk, a tournament for Latin American players with a live final in Mexico City on November 14. Registration is free for players 18 and over, from October 23 to 31, on the tournament’s official site, which has the rules and the list of eligible countries.

The format has several stages: 1,500 registered players will be drawn for the offline qualifiers on November 3 and 4, which award 400 places in the online qualifiers on November 6 and 7, streamed on the official Call of Duty: Mobile LATAM channels. There, the 400 players are split into four groups of 100, and the top 25 of each group advance. The 100 qualified players go through a draft in which 25 content creators build their squads, with three starters and one substitute, for the grand final. Players compete remotely, while Mexico City hosts an in-person event around the broadcast.
