What stands out about CRITICAL REFLEX is its taste for strange games in the best sense, and the publisher used the ID@Xbox Showcase and its own event, CRITICAL REFLEX TIME, to bring some of its biggest hits to consoles.

Mouthwashing and friends on consoles

The headline is Mouthwashing, the award-winning psychological horror game that has sold more than 800,000 copies. It arrives on October 29 on Xbox Series X|S (including Game Pass), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

No, I’m not a Human, the paranoia thriller that sold over 500,000 units in its first month on Steam, comes to Xbox (with Game Pass), PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in spring 2027. The egg-frying sim Arctic Eggs is already out on Xbox Series X|S, with PS5 and Switch versions on the way. And Buckshot Roulette, the indie horror phenomenon with 10 million copies sold on PC and Xbox, is also heading to PS5, PS4 and Switch soon.

A free game and new reveals

A lovely touch was the surprise launch of Cucina Stellata, from Filthy Eden: an hour-long horror game, free on Steam, where you cook authentic 19th-century Italian recipes while a cosmic hunger takes over the kitchen. An Xbox on PC version comes later.

The publisher also announced amFM, a dimension-hopping psychological RPG, and KEYKRUNCHER, a horror game about eating keyboards, both for PC and Xbox Series X|S. New Steam demos arrived for the co-op Pipes.exe, the horror game Drowned Lake and the odd Tiny Chills. The metroidvania Being and Becoming is set for 2027, and the occult puzzle game Inkblood reaches consoles the same year.
